Doris P. Fulghum

Centuries MP, Shreveport

STONEWALL, LA- Services will be conducted at Centuries Funeral Home Chapel for Doris P. Fulghum, age 78 of Stonewall, LA on Friday, August, 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Allen and Bro. Sam Procell of Lighthouse Baptist Church where Mrs. Fulghum was a member. The graveside services will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

We lost our angel, she went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 after a brief illness. She was born in Noble, LA and lived in Stonewall, LA for over twenty five years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who was greatly loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. Fulghum; one son, Billy Wayne Fulghum and two brothers, Rudolph and Buck Pugh.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Ann McMellon and husband, Alton O. and Annette Anderson and husband, Tommy, all from Stonewall, LA; two sons, Jerry Dale Fulghum and wife, Peggy of Gloster, LA. and Richard E. Fulghum and wife, Cheryl of Stonewall, LA; four sisters, Alliwese Oliver of Center, TX., Jimmie Jean Peterson of El Paso, TX, Clara Belle Johnson and husband, Willie of Gatesville, TX, and Anginita Tims and husband, Virgil of Carmel, LA; twenty grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
