Jay Scott Whitten

SHREVEPORT, LA- Jay Scott Whitten, age 45, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 in Grapevine, TX.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Logansport with Rev. David Womack, Baptist Evangelist officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2008 from 5-8:30 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.J. Whitten and Betty Stillwell Whitten and uncle, Shorty Whitten.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Whitten of Shreveport; two sons, Evan James Whitten and Joseph Scott Whitten of Shreveport; sister, Julia Womack and husband Wes of Shreveport; brother, Jon Whitten of Shreveport; mother-in-law, Linda Taylor of Ida, LA; father-in-law, Wayne Taylor of Vivian, LA; sister-in-law, Melissa Andrews and husband Chad of Myra, LA; nieces, Kierstin Whitten of Shreveport and Peyton Andrews of Myra, LA; nephew, Taylor Andrews of Myra, LA.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Stillwell, Travis Stillwell, Ron Whitten, Scott Whitten, Chad Andrews and James Rhodes.
