Dorothy Louise Kappen Hodge

STONEWALL, LA - Memorial services celebrating the life of Dorothy Louise Kappen Hodge, 78, will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at Landmark Baptist Church, Stonewall, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Gerald Head.

Dorothy was born August 9, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away July 6, 2009 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Mrs. Hodge was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and was employed as a bookkeeper with DeSoto Town and Country.

Preceding Dorothy in death is her husband, Lane Hodge; parents, Frank Edward and Lorraine McDaniel Kappen; brothers, Dr. Frank Hodge and Bill Hodge and grandson, Josh Boyette. Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Frank Hodge and H.L. Jay Hodge and his wife Amelia; daughters, Elaine Hodge and Anna Loraine Hodge; sister, Mary Kay Singleton; brother-in-law, Earl Hodge; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
