William Lee Hicks, Sr.

STONEWALL, LA - Visitation for Mr. William Lee Hicks Sr., 62, will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive.

William was born June 21, 1947 to John (Peg) and Etta (Lewis) Hicks. He passed away on November 13, 2009 at Christus Schumpert Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Gail Joyner Hicks; son, William Lee Hicks Jr. (Angela); daughter, Jennifer Hicks Moore; brothers, John L (Sherry) Hicks and Rodney Hicks; sister, Joanna (Gary) Williams; brothers-in-law, Larry Joyner (Earline), Dale Joyner (Helen), and Jimmy Wright (Vickie); his beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Cynthia, Anthony, Bre´Anna, Hunter, Sarah, and Seth and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Snead, the staff at Christus Schumpert Cancer Treatment Center, and the nurses of 6 Medical Tower.
