Nathan Lynn Ward

Prude Cemetery, Mansfield

STANLEY, LA - Services for Nathan Lynn Ward, 37 of Stanley, La will be held at 4 PM, Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport. Burial will follow in the Prude Cemetery, Mansfield, La. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Register and assisted by Rev. Tommy McMellon. Visititation was from 5-9 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2009 and from 8 AM, Friday until service time at the funeral home.

Nathan entered into rest on March 31, 2009 at his residence after a brief illness. He accepted Christ at Wood Springs Baptist Church. He was a loving father and thoroughly enjoyed watching his sons play baseball, also he was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed riding his four-wheeler.

He was preceded in death by his father; Keith Ward and a brother; Perry Keith Ward.

Nathan is surived by his two sons; Mason and Coby Ward and their mother all of Stanley, La., mother; Altheaon Burch, Stanley, sister; Karen Campbell & husband Wayne, Joaquin,Texas, brothers; Steve Ward, Stanley and Mark Ward & wife Brandy, Logansport, uncle; Kevin "Moochie" Harris, Hunter Community and aunt; Fern Turner, Stanley and a numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matt Ward, Sam Ward, Jess Campbell, Ryder Ward, Logan Williams, Brian Anderson, Lance Woods and Jeffery Dick.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin "Moochie" Harris, Shaquille Thomas, Tyler Anderson, Chris Lilley, Seth Ward and Jason Arbuckle.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport, LA 318-697-4441.
