Jack L. (Chic) Clemons

Out of State, AR

LOGANSPORT, LA - Jack L. (Chic) Clemons went home to his heavenly family on September 25, 2009. He was born on January 17, 1931 in Thornton, AR to John Arra and Rilla Taylor Clemons. Four of his brothers were among the loved ones meeting him at the heavenly gate.

Loved ones who will miss him include his wife, Wanda J. (Branton) Clemons, his sons, Steve Clemons of Monroe, LA, Brandy Clemons (Debbie) of Livingston, TX, Tim Barlow of Jackson, MS and Pressely Schee (Beverly) of Ceres, CA; his daughters, Connie Fite (Cecil) of Arkadelphia, AR, Ramona Brown (Rickie) of Hope, AR, Suzette Nelson of Gauthier, MS, Syble Austin (Doug) of Logansport, LA, Sonia Finch (Ronnie) of Logansport, LA, Sharon Locke of Jackson, MS, Tina Morrow of Adairsville, GA, Juliana Anderson (Scott) of Fordyce, AR, and one surviving brother, Huey Clemons of Thornton, AR. There are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss his love and his guidance.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Maple Springs Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Register. A graveside service will be held on September 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Clemons Cemetery, Thornton, AR.
