Earnest Teague Price

O. E. Price Cemetery, Logansport

LOGANSPORT, LA. - Graveside funeral services will be held for Mr. Earnest Teague Price, age 67, Monday, September, 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM in O.E. Price Cemetery in Logansport, LA. Reverend Kemper Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA.

Mr. Price was born June 12, 1942 in Shreveport, LA. to W.T. and Jessie Andress Price and passed away September 18, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, TX.

Mr. Price fought a courageous battle with cancer and heart disease for fifteen years. He was a life long resident of Logansport, where he graduated from Logansport High School. Mr. Price graduated from Panola Junior College and Stephen F. Austin University with a B.S. Degree in Psychology. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Logansport. He was in management at AT&T until his illness brought him to retirement. He was a supporter of the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission.

Preceding Mr. Price in death were his parents; W.T. and Jessie Price and one son; Davey Scott Price. Left here to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years; Diann Hatton Price, his son; Mark Robin Price, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Ted and Sue Eddins and Lynn and Linda Hatton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carrying Mr. Price to his final resting place will be Pallbearers King Vidler, Jack Gamble, Dan Eddins, Ted Eddins, Jr., Mike Eddins, Daniel Eddins, John David Eddins and Ben Daily. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Price and B.C. Palmer.
