Ruth Washburn Ferguson

O. E. Price Cemetery, Logansport

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Ruth, 90, will be held at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Jerry Hodge will officiate. Interment will follow in O.E. Price Memorial Cemetery in Logansport at 2:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2009.

Ruth was born on April 29, 1919 in Shreveport, LA. She passed away, July 18, 2009, in Denton, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Annie Gurley, first husband, Kirk Washburn and second husband, J.W. Ferguson, Jr.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Morrow and son-in-law, Marlon; grandsons, Micheal and Wolff Morrow, along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Stripes, and will be missed by all of her friends at University Church of Christ.
