Everett Doyle Jones

Northwest LA Veterans Cemetery

STONEWALL, LA - Everett Doyle Jones, 55, passed away quietly at his nephew's home March 31, 2009 at Fort Campbell, KY. He was a lifetime resident of the Shreveport-Stonewall area. Mr. Jones' cremated remains will be interred with military honors at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on June 1, 2009 at 3:00pm.

Everett served in the USAF Special Forces, served as a deputy sheriff for Caddo Parish, worked several years for Tommie's Novelty, and taught computers/electronics at various technical institutes. Everett never failed to meet a challenge and excelled at every endeavor.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Rae Bryant Jones and his eldest brother Bruce Jones. He is survived by his brothers, Bryon, Justin, Damon, and Jason; his sister, Daron Gentry Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all.
