Gwendolyn Harris Pockrandt

Mansfield Cemetery

GRAND CANE, LA - Services for Gwendolyn Harris Pockrandt, 61, will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church, Mansfield, La. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Brown, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the Mansfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Monday, February 23, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.

Mrs. Pockrandt was a native of Mansfield. She retired from the State of Louisiana after working in the Child Protection Services She was a member of the First Baptist Church and played the piano at the First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Pockrandt was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Joshlin and is survived by her husband, Laverne "Butch" Pockrandt of Grand Cane, daughter; Christie Tuck & husband Mark, Grand Cane and two grandsons; Heath Lemme and Hunter Tuck, sister; Artis Harris Wells & husband Robert "Bud" Wells, Mansfield, two nieces; Katherine Ann Shaffer & husband Dave and their children, Weston & Hayden Schaffer Tyler, Texas and Cindy Colclasure & husband Bruce and their son, Steele, Simpson, La.

Pallbearers will be Dave Shaffer, Bruce Colclasure, Bob Plumber, Sammy Brown, Lee Hollowell and David Platt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Bob Miller and Bob Meredith.
