MANSFIELD, LA - Services for Elizabeth Ann Shelton, 60 will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, Mansfield, La. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Price, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Noble, La. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, La. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shelton passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Promise Hospital in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. She was born in Converse, La and was a beautician for 15 years in Mansfield, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Terry Shelton, Father; Pat Parker, Mother; Aline English Marshall, Step-father; Rufus Marshall and a grandson; Trevor Shelton.
Mrs. Shelton is survived by one daughter; Stacey Shelton Bridges and husband Chris, Keithville, La., grandchildren; Alexis Bridges and Keegan Bridges both of Keithville, La. Three sisters; Brenda Parker Smith & husband Ray, Shreveport,Debbie Mitchell & husband C. W., Ringgold, La., Linda Rachal & husband Brad, Keithville, La.. two step-sisters; Joyce Stovall, Minden, La and Betty Nichols & husband Doug, Lufkin, Texas, two brothers; Thomas Ray Parker, Mansfield, Troy Parker & wife Hannelore, Mansfield, La., three step-brothers; Ray Marshall & wife Sharon, Ringgold, La., Rufus Marshall & wife Janie, Mansfield, La and Silas Marshall & wife Iva Nell, Keithville, La. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Smith, Todd Rachal, Cody Rachal, Jeremy Mitchell, Jeffery Mitchell and Jay Baker.
