Grand Cane Cemetery
MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Fenton, Jr. will be held Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Grand Cane Baptist Church in Grand Cane, LA. Interment will follow in the Grand Cane Cemetery. Reverend David Permenter will officiate the service and Mr. Fenton's brother, Ed Fenton, will assist. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 13th at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Mr. Jesse Fenton, Jr. was born March 19, 1926 in Cushing, TX to Jesse Fenton Sr. and Jewell Nicar Fenton and entered into rest November 13, 2009 at DeSoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield, LA.
Preceding Mr. Fenton in death were his parents; Jesse and Jewell Nicar Fenton, and wives; Olive Edgington Fenton and Allene Fenton. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Diane Taylor and husband, Kenneth of North Little Rock, AR, Sandra Lukas and husband, Leonard of Morrilton, AR and Susan Hensley and husband, Thomas of North Little Rock, AR, step-son; Rick Hedrick of Shreveport, half-sister; Jeanette Coker and husband, Ted of Tyler, TX, half-brother; Edwin Fenton and wife, Ivadelle of Marthaville, TX, grandchildren; Michael Taylor and wife Abi, Amy Gooden and husband, Brett and Rob Skipworth and wife, Dale Grados, great-grandchildren, Maggie Taylor and Ava and Ethan Gooden.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Garsee, Jeff Heard, Bubba Locke, Dr. Jody Meeks, Tommy Rascoe and Harry Wyatt. Jack Cooper will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
