Mrs. Cathy Hawkins Woods

Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Carmel, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Cathy Woods, 57, will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:00AM in the Chapel at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow in Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Carmel, LA with Reverend Lynn Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10th at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 9:00PM.

Mrs. Cathy Hawkins Woods was born October 27, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to Bill Hawkins and Eloise (Morton) Hawkins and passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, November 8, 2009 at her daughter's home in Alexandria, LA.

Preceding Mrs. Woods in death were her parents; Bill and Eloise Hawkins and her sister; Suzanne Hawkins. Remembering her always with deep love and many happy memories are her family: husband; Ruben "Bubba" Woods of Mansfield, LA, son; Chad Woods and wife, Jennifer of Mansfield, LA, daughter; Tricia Lemaire and husband, Mark of Alexandria, LA, sister; Judy Wilkerson and husband, Rip of Mansfield, LA, brother; Jeffrey Hawkins and wife, Felicia of Panola, TX, grandchildren; Taylor and Madison Woods, Madeline, David, Jillian, Jacob and Emma Lemaire.

Honoring Mrs. Woods as Pallbearers will be Tyler Smith, Roy Brown, Otis Calhoun, Jerry Bissell, Shane Binning and Luther Woods. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kris Wilkerson, Bert Woods, Ricky Forrest and Justin Hawkins.

The family would like to thank Dr. Howard Wold and the Nurses and staff at Hematology Oncology Life Center in Alexandria, the Doctors, Nurses and Chaplain of St. Francis Cabrini Hospice in Alexandria and for all the prayers and support of family and friends.
