Wilmadene "Denie" Johnston Long
KATY, TX- There will be a graveside service for Denie Long, 87, at 2:00pm on Monday December 28, 2009 at Cottage Grove Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Hignight.
Denie Long was born April 29, 1922 and passed away on December 27, 2009. She was a graduate of Plain Dealing High School and attended Business College in Shreveport, LA Denie and Wardell Long married in April 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband after 59 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, Dana Butchee and husband Thay of Nashville, TN, Richard Lon and friend Christine Bogausch of Shreveport, LA, Cynthia Schuppert and husband Chip of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Keron Butchee Leatherwood and husband Jim of Berlin, Germany, Kevin Long and wife April, Stacy Long and their mother, Linda Long all of Shreveport, LA, Lt. Patrick Schuppert, Erin Schuppert and Brian Schuppert all of Katy, TX; great-grandchild, Ella Leatherwood and niece, Judy Adams of Katy, TX.
