Funeral services for Virgil Ray English, 70, of Royse
City were held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, Jan. 22, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral
Home Chapel, Alba, with Mr. Delton Alexander officiating. Burial was in
Enon Cemetery, Alba. Mr. English died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Parkland
Memorial Hospital, Dallas. He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Alba. He
lived his early years in Alba and several years in the Dallas/Fort Worth area,
and the last 20 years in Royse City. He was a heating and air
conditioning technician. He is survived by sons, Calvin Ray English of
Point and Gerald English of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Tami Dunn of Florida
and Kelly English of Fort Worth; brothers, Harold English of Weatherford,
Jesse English of Forney, Calvin English of Mesquite, and Kenneth English of
California; sisters, Mildred Thomas of Bedford, Rosemary Garrison of Wichita
Falls, Emma of Wichita Falls, Imagene and Lynn of Royse City; and five
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Wesley and
Lillian Alexander English. Arrangements were by Wilson-Bartley Funeral
Home, Alba.
