Paul Holder, 68, of Greenville died the afternoon of April 16, 2008, at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. Funeral services were Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Don Coppinger officiating. A graveside service followed in Harmony Cemetery in Winnsboro. The son of Al and Minnie Gunn Holder, he was born July 5, 1939, in San Francisco, Calif. On May 25, 1985, he married Carol Rote in Reno, Nev. Mr. Holder was a mechanic for the American Meter Company. He attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Catherine Holder of Freemont, Calif.; stepdaughters Karen Gregory of Stockton, Calif., Debbie Walsh of Sebastpol, Calif.; Lori Light of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and Lisa Maples of Lodi, Calif.; a stepson, Rick Dickerson of Woodland Hills, Calif.; grandson Mitchell Woodward of Freemont, Calif.; an aunt, Sybil Guillory of Atoka, Okla.; and several cousins. His parents preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Phil Baumgardner, Bill Caldwell, James Hayes, Ken Hintzsche, Robert Sanders and John Smith.
