Kathy Winters
1942 – 2004

Funeral services for Katherine “Kathy” Gertrude Winters, 61, of Van, were held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Van Assembly of God with Brad Williams officiating. Burial was in Fairway Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home.  Mrs. Winters died October 6, at her residence. She was born November 10, 1942, in Tioga, to the late Dan and Laura Bell Taylor Knight. She lived in Irving, where she was a billing supervisor for Purolator Courier, and moved in February 2000 to Van, where she was a florist and owner of Van Floral.  Survivors include her husband, Bill Winters, Van; children, Don Holt of Van, Marian Talkington of Point, Danny Winters of BeBee, Arkansas, and Teresa Hickman of Fairhope, Alabama; brothers, Danny Knight, Cecil Pope and Royce Pope; and sisters, Linda Moore, Marie Burton, Edna Krumrei, Cecilia Hoyle, Laura Campbell and Kay Foster.   She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Holt, and sister, Lucy Woods.
