Location: From Mt Pleasant take Hwy 67 East 7 miles to Cookville. Turn Right on FM 1000 and go 2 blocks. Take a right on County Road SE17 (just before you go over the RR track) Go about ½ mile to approximately the 5th drive on the right. Stop at the pink frame house (Wilma Carpenter) on the corner to get a key to the gate. A key is also available at the Cookville Volunteer Fire Dept or Contact Joe or Aretta Carter @ 572-0233. The cemetery is located at the top of the hill on the blacktop road behind the Wilma Carpenter home. If you are up to a short walk, you can park at the locked gate and walk about 300 yards up the hill.
