To reach Mitchell Cemetery, take FM 3278
approximately 2 miles from Camilla, going east toward the Lake Livingston dam
site. It is a short distance from
Camilla Cemetery, containing eleven or more graves, and is no longer in use.
The earliest marker date is that of Matilda
Wheatley who died in 1900. The
majority of the graves have no documented dates.
