This Cemetery is located in the Laird Hill community, near the intersections of Highway 42 and FM 2012. The original home was owned by B. F. Thompson. It is now known as the Shack Laird home. The cemetery is adjacent to the home, is well kept, enclosed by cyclone fence. Many of the graves are in above ground vaults.

A large family marker gives the birth dates of the children of J. M. (John Martin) and L.A.(Lou Adaline) Thompson. Also the following:: " Erected 1902---Scotch Irish Descent, his parents coming from North Ireland, Mother was daughter of Judge John and Nellie Martin of the Tribe of Cherokee Indians. Stepmother was Mrs. Harris, daughter of J.& M. Samples ( The names of the children on opposite side of this marker.)
