This cemetery is located off FM 42 South from Turnertown. Turn right on CR 4123D and the cemetery is on a wooded hill on the left. There is an oil well platform base adjacent to the cemetery which bears the inscription "Burks Royalty Co, T.J. Stovall Lease, Well # 6". There are nuerous "sinks" giving indication of unmarked graves as well as about eight cedar trees which are also an indication of unknown graves. This cemetery was canvassed earlier by Mrs. Mary Frank Dunn. At that time, thre was found only a memorial marker to the Stovall Family:
"In Memoriam Children of S.K. Stovall
Pioneer East Texas
Erected by T.J. Stovall 1956"
From the 1994 canvass made by Don Whitehead, Lynda Jones and John Dulin, part of a broken headstone was found buried beneath leaves and pine needles. This is believed to be a daughter of the Henry C. Berry family, names "Willie". At footstone at this grave was also found bearing the initials "W.D.".
