On New Salem Road from Henderson, near Scoober Creek, a lone grave was once located near a house. It was enclosed in an iron fence and covered with vines. This grave was later vandalized and the stone discarded. It was found and taken to the Howard-Dickenson House in Henderson.

"In Memory of Jacob Lacy, born in Madison County, Tenn. Feb. 6th 1848 deid April 17th 1863 aged 15 years 2 mo. and ---days."

Note: This is said to be the son of Tom Lacy, who is buried at Lacy-Stone Cemetery.
