In the Oak Flat Community, on Wolverton land is this grave

Garnder, William M. June 25 1816-- December 1888

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."

In July of 2000, the marker of William M. Gardner was moved to Holleman Cemetery and a Confederate Marker was placed on his grave.  Notes: Gloria B. Mayfield
