Located in the Concord Community, Joseph English Survey, on land now belonging to the Langston family.(1960) It is in a stand of large virgin pine timber. The Foster home was once nearby. Higgs, Jeremiah, born June 11, 1823, died May 12, 1879. Aged 55 years, 11 months and 1 day. "Here lies a beloved husband and father."

Bowling, Susannah G. born April 6, 1839, died January 6, 1905. "Our Wife and Mother" (Susannah G. Bowling was married first to John G. Latimer, son of Robert W. and Nancy Greenwood Latimer of Shelby County, TX. They had one son, John Robert Latimer. John G. Latimer was killed in the Civil War and Susannah then married Mr. Bowling. mgh)

fence. (1965 note: It was said these Bowling were ancestors of a Mr. Latimer at
Nacogdoches, Texas.) (2000 note: Susannah G. Bowling was an ancestor of the Latimers
in Garrison, TX. have not found a Mr. Latimer living in Nacogdoches connected to
