Funeral services for Rachel Keeler, 94, will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Point, with Rev. Billy Smith and Rev. Jay Sikes officiating. Burial will take place at Lynch Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Kirk Stuart, Gary Stuart, Kenny Armstrong, Rusty Armstrong, C.H. Pritchett, Michael Stuart, Harold Stuart, and Craig Stuart. She died in her home on June 6, 2005. Mrs. Keeler was born in Point, on August 26, 1910, to parents Tuck S. Stuart and Nora Slider Stuart. On January 7, 1929, she married Dave Keeler in Dallas. She was a retired employee of E-Systems in Greenville, and was a member of Woosley Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, Preston Stuart of Saltillo; her sisters, Maurine Pritchett of Dallas, Mattie Lou Morris of Pasedena and Norma Dean Armstrong of Point. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bobby Stuart; her parents, Tuck and Nora Stuart; and her husband, Dave Keeler. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Lynch Cemetery Fund. --- Rains County Leader, June 7, 2005
