  Asleep with Jesus A gloom was cast over our neighborhood last Thursday afternoon when the announcement was made that little Guy Holmes was dead.  The little fellow contracted measles several weeks ago, which caused his death.  All that medical and loving and tender hands could do, was done, but the Father in Heaven and Earth had seen fit to call him from this sin-laden world to mingle with the angels above.  Guy was the pride and joy of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Holmes, and also the entire community, and was idolized by them.  He was two and a half years old and was exceptionally bright for his age.  His little remains were consigned to mother earth in the Pilgrim Rest cemetery Wednesday evening in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.  Guy is now at rest, 'Safe in the arms of Jesus."
