Norma A. Mayfield, a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, formerly of Joaquin Texas, who was born in New Orleans Louisiana died November 22, 2006 at Boyington Nursing Home, Gulfport, Mississippi. Age 87. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Mayfield, parents Alma Kronenberg and George Acheson Sr., brother, George Acheson Jr., Cornelius Acheson Sr. and Gloria Cohn. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, sisters, Marguerite Henton, Josephine Lizana, Mabel Kelly. Service is Monday, November 27, 2006 at Scott Cemetery, Panola County.
