Moses Rose was a survivor of The Alamo.  His grave is in Funston, north of Logansport, LA, off Hwy 5.  There is a sign on Hwy 5 and the gravesite is some distance down the blacktop, which turns into an unpaved road.  Visiting in wet weather is not recommended.  When Jerry & I were there it was somewhat overgrown.  Although it is an historical site (I think it is so designated) it is not kept up.

He is the only man who elected not to stay, he fled the Alamo before it fell. Therefore he survived.
