Location: East of Sabine River, between Centennial and Old Panola Community.
Informant : Margie Wallace Spurlock who has a grocery store in the vicinity, and her ancestors were buried there.
Old Landmark Baptist Church was on Wallace Land: and the family started a cemetery there. Only two graves were ever placed at that location.
Wallace, Francis died in the early 1900's. He was the Grandfather of Margie Wallace Spurlock and he died long before the death of his wife.
?????, ?????? Brother in law of Francis Wallace ( his name was forgotten)
Neither grave ever had a marker. The church was discontinued before 1910: parents of Margie Wallace Spurlock (Mary Ann and husband) lived in the old church building until it burned. Now no evidence remains of the church and cemetery" but Old Landmark Church is mentioned often in early records of the area.
