SPRING RIDGE CEMETERY, San Augustine County, Texas, was surveyed and photographed 27 November, 2009, by Bob Britnell and Sandra Britnell, his sister. This small cemetery serves a sparsely populated San Augustine County  farming area near the western edge of the county. Shortly after we arrived, Mr. Jerry Fountain, who owns a large poultry farming operation just down the road, stopped by and introduced himself, and was kind enough to permit us to continue. 

DIRECTIONS: From San Augustine, go west on SR21 7.1 miles, to FM354 and turn right. Go north on 354 4.6 miles; at the sharp right bend in the road, continue on the pavement to the right. (the gravel road straight ahead goes on  into Nacogdoches County) The cemetery is a little less than 3 miles further up the road, after the pavement ends.
