Lydia Belisle Long of Arlington passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14. Funeral services were held Friday at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kaufman. Burial was in Kaiser Cemetery in Kaufman. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Alba for many years before moving to Arlington where she joined Highland Baptist Church there. She was born in Many, La., on May 10, 1911, and graduated from Athens High School. Survivors include sons, Allen Long and wife Wilma of Arlington; Dr. William Long and wife Karen of Cadillac, Michigan; Barry Long of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters, Denise Olivio and husband John of Greenville; Ellen B. Long of Little Elm; sister, Jessie Fern Casey of Red Oak; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and numerous neices, nephews, and other relatives.
