Jack Turner
WOLFE CITY - Jack Turner, 69, of Campbell died Friday at Baylor Restorative Care Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Rev. Robert Tolleson of First Baptist Church of Commerce officiating. Burial is at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928 in Fairlie, the son of William Travis Turner and Annie Ola Crawley. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was retired from Proctor and Gamble. He was a member of Colonial Baptist Church in Dallas.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Frances Turner of Cumby, Mary Turner Lowry of Denton, and Jean Talley of Cumby; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jim Lowry, Bill Lowry, Ron Talley, Tim Lowry, David Lowe, and Ralph Harold Evans Jr.
Visitation is from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. today at R. W. Owens and Son Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
