CADDO MILLS - Robert Allen Morris, 85, of Caddo Mills, died Monday in Rowlett. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Caddo Mills with Rev. Steve Shipley and Rev. Tray Lancaster officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

He was born in Celeste on July 3, 1912 to Henry Washington Morris and Cora Lee Attebery Morris. He married Laura Menefee on Jan. 21, 1942. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Mr. Morris was a farmer. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are his wife of Caddo Mills; two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry "Buddy" and Eunice Morris of Mesquite and Ronald Lee and Diane Morris of Dallas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Allen and Terry Boren of Garland and Debbie and Jim Schmuck of Corinth; a sister, Eunice East of Fate; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Henry Morris, Terry Boren, Ronnie Morris, Jim Schmuck, J.C. East and Johnny Weatherly.
