WOLFE CITY - Jewel Morgan, 83, of Fort Worth died Friday at Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owens Funeral Chapel. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 6, 1915 in Anson, the daughter of James Washington Owens and Ella Perry. She married Henry Jackson Morgan on Nov. 6, 1937 in Dickens. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church in Haskell.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Nelda Ruth Tyler of Levelland and Mary Alice Bruckner of Plano; one son, James Robert Morgan of Fort Worth; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

R. W. Owens and Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of arrangements.
