Lorene Harrell

Wolfe City-Lorene Lucille Harrell, 98, of Greenville died Tuesday at a Greenville nursing home following a lenghty illness.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City under the direction of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City.  Rev. Robert Baldridge will officate.

The daughter of SAm and Maybelle cunningham McWilliams, she was born Oct. 18, 1905, in Hopkins County. She was married to Orbie Busby, who died in 1927. She married Richard Harrell on May 11, 1940; he died in 1996.

Mrs. Harrell was a homemaker.  She was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church in Wolfe City.

Mrs. Harrell is survived by one daughter, Maretta Parks of Greenville; three sisters, Fannie Harrell, Larue Nuez and Loma Shuart, all of Greenville; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is today from 1 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
