A.L. "Booger" Harrell

WOLFE CITY - Albert Lee "Booger" Harrell, 91, of Wolfe City died Wednesday at Mesquite Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at R.W. Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Mitchell officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Mr. Harrell was born March 10, 1908 in Wolfe City to Francis Edward and Mary Lela Warren Harrell. He married Gladys Era Hulsey on Dec. 30, 1931 in Hugo, Okla.

Mr. Harrell was a rancher and a Baptist.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Shirley Harrell of Seagoville; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Stidham of Wolfe City; two grandchildren, Teresa Harrell and Ricky and wife Leslie Harrell and two great-grandchildren, Wade Harrell and Dayton Harrell.

Pallbearers are Tom Cate, Dale Dyle, Bobby Woodward, R.C. Lewis, Kenneth Jobe and Tommy Caldwell. Leon Denney and W.D. Maples are honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service today at the funeral home.
