WOLFE CITY — Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Jean Wilkes Castle, who resided in Balch Springs, will be today at 2:30 p.m. Owens Funeral Chapel here.

Officiating will be the Rev. Dwight Lowrie and the Rev. William Covey.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Mrs. Castle died suddenly Monday.

She was born July 6, 1936, in Wolfe City to George Earl Wilkes and Eva Nazee Woods.

She was married to Orval J. Castle Sept. 15, 1956.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Terry Mark Castle of Balch Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Doris Lamm of Wolfe City, Mrs. Dorthea Scoggin of Wolfe City, and Mrs. Nonnie King of Mullin; one brother, Norman Ray Wilkes of Wolfe City.
