CADDO MILLS — Vera Pauline “Mudd” Morgan, 79, of Caddo Mills died June 19, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rentfrow Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jerry Stout officiating. Burial will be at Dry Creek Cemetery.  Born Sept. 25, 1926, in Hugo, Okla., she was the daughter of Jasper Riley Waits and Nicy Ramsey. She was married to Walt T. Bishop on Nov. 18,1944, in Greenville. She was a homemaker.  Survivors are a son, Randy T. Bishop of Chico; daughters Paula Fay Rosenbalm, Gay Nell Cano and Jo Ann Coe, all of Caddo Mills; a sister, Rita Ray Taylor of Palmer; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jimmy Dean Bishop; two brothers, Johnny and TJ Waits; sisters Opal Tucker, Bonnie Fay Bussey, Roxy Stevens and Earline Pitman.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

CADDO MILLS — Benjamin “Benny” Lee Agnew, 70, of Caddo Mills died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at his residence. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Rentfrow Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Randal Bost officiating. Burial is in Dry Creek Cemetery.  Mr. Agnew was born Sept. 4, 1935, in New Orleans, La.; the son of Clyde Wallace and Zelma Franklin Agnew.   He was a retired Prolerized Steel foreman and a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Surviving are daughters Janet Bell of Brownwood, Billie Wright of Caddo Mills and Bobbie Yocum of West Fork, Ark.; grandchildren, Tessa and Anna Bell and of Brownwood, Natalee and Brock Wright and Kristi Helton, all of Caddo Mills, Breanna Yocum of West Fork, Ark.; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Deetta Bailey of Doughtry, Okla.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Wanda Joyce Lowery, 68, of Greenville died Sept. 28, 2006, at her home.  She was born July 30, 1938, in Greenville, daughter of Aubie and Opal Tucker in Greenville. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Mrs. Lowery was of the Baptist faith.   She is survived by her husband, Cecil E. Lowery; two sons, Ricky Lowery and Johnny Lowery of Greenville; daughters Susan and husband Ferris Tate of Greenville, Vickie and husband Steve Sessum of Oklahoma, Brenda Trahan of Greenville and Donna Jones of Greenville; brothers Murrell Tucker of Quinlan, Clyde Tucker of Cumby and Charlie Tucker of Wolfe City; two sisters, Jearldean Melton of Greenville and Fay Hawkins of Wolfe City; grandchildren Kristi, Melanie, Brian, Tonya, Jennifer, Lori, Jimmy, Sebastian and Rickey Jr.; and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clarence Tucker.  A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. today at Dry Creek Cemetery.  Lynch Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Wilma Jean Watson, 75, of Quinlan died Nov. 17, 2006, in Dallas. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. tonight at Rentrow Funeral Home in Caddo Mills.  She was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Quinlan to Ephraim Isaac Doty and Dovie Ellen Trapp-Doty. She worked for Athens catering for E-Systems and was a Baptist.  Pallbearers will be John Clarke, Willie Bryant, Lawrence Brister, Calvin Lilly, George Mayfield and Kip Salser.  Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Wallie Watson of Garland; a grandson, Neil Watson of Garland; a sister, Helen Watson of Quinlan; brothers Dewey and Cecil Doty of Caddo Mills and Nathan Doty of Irving; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and relatives.  She is preceded in death by a son, Tony Watson, and his dad, A.B. Watson, as well as her second husband, Doug Brown, and brother, Herman Doty.  Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Van Sickle Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek, Quinlan.
