Robert Dean Wilemon (Sulphur Springs News Telegram, December 15, 1999, pg. 14)
Funeral services for Robert Dean Wilemon, 73, of Brashear will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, with the Rev. J.C. Smithers officiating.
Interment will follow services at Brashear Cemetery with Ricky Wilemon, Steve Finney, Roger Havner, Joe Pilcher, Billy Bunch, Aubrey Potts and Bobby Cockrum serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Tapp Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilemon died at 10:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 21, 1926, in Hopkins County, to Jett and Clara Boren Wilemon.
He married Queta Joy Tipps on July 21, 1951, in Sulphur Springs. He survives.
Mr. Wilemon was a contractor. He was a member of Center Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Ray Dean Wilemon of Brashear; two daughters, Joy Gail Tellez and Theresa Roche, both of Brashear; one brother, Hugh Wilemon of Sulphur Springs; one sister, Viva Cook of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Tonya Rodriguez, Juana Maria Roche, and Tabitha Wilemon; and two great-grandchildren, Nevia and Nina Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Royce, Ted, Bill, and Aubrey Wilemon, and one infant brother; one sister, Dolly Kimbrow, and one infant sister, Barbara Ann Wilemon.
