Sylvia M. Millsap, 48, of P.O. Box 835, Cumby died Thursday in a Greenville hospital.

Services will be held at 2 Saturday afternoon in the Jones Memorial Funeral Chapel in Commerce with the Rev. Jimmy Tarrant and Rev. David Burns officiating. Burial will be in the Brashear Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Petty, Billy Key, Wayne Garrett, James Key, Ricky Jennings and Bryan Lennon.

She was born Jan. 18, 1935 in Hopkins County and was a daughter of O.E. and Vivian Watson Mabe. She was married to Junior Millsap of Cumby on Nov. 15, 1951 in Sulphur Springs. He survives.

Mrs. Millsap was a retail sales employee of Wal-Mart in Commerce and a member of the Brashear Baptist Church in Brashear.

She is also survived by one son, Bart Millsap of Cumby; one daughter, Regina Strickland of Commerce; two grandchildren; her parents of Miller Grove; one sister, Christine Watts of Greenville, and one brother, Larry Mabe of Miller Grove.
