Eula Mae Darrow (Sulphur Springs News Telegram, June 19, 2000)
Funeral services for Eula Mae Darrow, 83, of the Greenview community are to be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, in West Oaks Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Guy Mays officiating.
Private interment is to be in Miller Grove Cemetery with Keith Darrow, Ronny Darrow, Johnny Ray Darrow, Brett Darrow, Sammy Waskom and Winston Grayson serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Darrow died at 12:20 p.m. Monday, June 19, in East Texas Medical Center in Tyler following an extended illness.
She was born in the Bonanza community of Rains County on July 23, 1916, the daughter of Walter Winston and Rosa McLeroy Grayson.
She was a retired supervisor with Jo Hardin Originals in Dallas. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of Miller Grove United Methodist Church.
She married Boyd Darrow in Hopkins County on Feb. 21, 1931. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1998.
Survivors include one son, Gary R. Darrow of Greenview community; one daughter, Margaret Darrow Cain of Emory; four grandchildren, Michael Lynn Cain, Jamey Dee Cain, Shannon La Nee Edwards and Gary Keith Darrow; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters.
