Dilliard | Rev Lunsford L. | May 10 1805 | Jun 25 1872 | Lunsford died in Granbury, Hood County, TX. He was buried in Acton Cemetery (a State Historical Site), off of Farm Rd 4, outside of Granbury, near Davy Crockett's wife and children, and next to Lunsford's daughter, Minerva J. Harwell. His Tombstone is a full size flat piece of rock laying ontop of entire grave. It reads, "In Memory of Rev. L.L. Dilliard, Born 10 May 1805, Departed June 25, 1872."(Kathie Dillard Schwend) |
