Putman, Mitchell, b. 18 Feb 1794, Laurens Co., SC  d. 11 Mar 1887, Gonzales Co., TX   Veteran of Texas War of Independence, wounded at San Jacinto 1836  Fought in War of 1812.  Veteran of Texas War for Independence. Served at the Battle of  San Jacinto.
Putman, Rebecca, died 10 June 1846, Age 44 years  Rebecca Hall Putman  died June 10, 1846 aged 44 years.  (Second wife of Mitchell Putman.)
Elizabeth Lloyd Putman died February 1859, Age 45 years.  (Third wife of Mitchell Putman.)
