JOSEPH CERRATO, SR.

Joseph Anthony Cerrato Sr., 96,of Texarkana, Texas died Tuesday January 6,2004 at his home.
Mr. Cerrato was born May 16,1907 in New York, N.Y. He was a retired longshoreman and a member
of Bowie County Bowling Hall of Fame and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceaded in death by his wife, Mary Teresa Gordon Cerrato. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Erlene Cerrato of Texarkana; and Jim and Judy Cerrato of Longview, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Janet and John Daddato of Texarkana; and Maureen Marino of Port Jefferson, N.Y.; six sisters; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel. Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Priest and the Rev. Phillip Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will be at 6523 Lakeview Drive, Texarkana, Texas.
