Ruth Conkleton, 64,of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, May 6,2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Conkleton was born November 27,1939, in Carbondale, Texas. She was a member
of Arkadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Lenneth "Noche" Conkleton
of Nash, Texas, Daron Conkleton and Joe Conkleton of Texarkana and Anthony Conkleton
of Hooks, Texas; four daughters, Annette Thompson of Waco, Texas, and Gwendolyn Wyse,
Kimberly Henderson and Donna Conkleton of Hooks; four brothers, Bee Miller of Maud, Texas,
Dee Miller of Texarkana, Frank James Miller of Denton, Texas, and Bevan Miller of Crandell, Texas;
two sisters, Dorothy Carrigan of Dallas and Elizabeth Petty of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Arkadelphia Baptist Church
with the Rev. Johnnie Walker officiating. Burial will be in Arkadelphia Cemetery, under direction
of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
