Bowen Cemetery

Location : Go approx. 1 mile out Hwy.103 West,turn right on  Stubblefield Road , follow road to sharp curve ,
cemetery is on the right side of road on the Lenderman property...private property.

My requests for permission to survey this small, old cemetery were denied as others before me were. It is known that the burials are from the Bowen family , not much else is known about it. The name Bowen can be seen on some of the markers.  It is believed that there may be 5 to 8 burials in this hidden cemetery but exact number is not known.

You may view photos of this cemetery online / taken from the public road running beside it. (looks like nothing more than any typical brush thicket in East Texas )
