The Old Antioch Cemetery was originally called "Plenitude". A person may reach this cemetery from Palestine by driving to Montalba on Highway 19. Turn right on the first oil road to the right. Mr. Walter B. Brown, owner of the cemetery lives in the first house on the left. The cemetery is about 3/4 mile behind the house. This land is known by many people of the area as "The Old Berryman Place".

Legible tombstones in the cemetery date from 1852 to 1929. There is a possibility that there are graves missing from the rear of the cemetery, as a creek has eroded much of the area. Of the graves still to be found in the cemetery, there are approximately 25 legible tombstones, and thirty-two unmarked graves or illegible tombstones. There are about ten Indian burial mounds. The Indian burial mounds can be identified by their "mounded" appearance, being made up of large rust--colored rocks piled two or three feet off of the ground. There are a lot of graves marked with field stones and a few of these stones have crumbled.
