Directions: In Frankston turn on Texas
Hwy#19 and travel SE toward Neches. Travel 3 miles and turn right at the green Dabbs
Cemetery sign. Continue 2.2 miles to a Y in the road. Take the left road and
travel 0.8 mile to another Y. Take the right road and continue for 0.9 miles (This
road will change from blacktop to dirt.) Turn right and after 0.3 mile you will see
the cemetery on the right. (This road turns to blacktop again.) The first section is the
black cemetery. The second section immediately past it is the white cemetery and the arbor.
There are two sections to this cemetery, a white section and a black section. In
addition to what I have listed there are about 10 to 15 additional graves in the white
section and the entire black section. It is an old country type cemetery, the
white section being enclosed by a chain link fence. There are many unmarked graves,
marked only by large iron ore rocks on which some have scratched information. Most
of those are covered with lichen.
